Survivors are all around us. They are the every day people we meet, dealing with things we can only imagine. If only we stopped to ask them, they might tell us their story.
At Miss Angie’s Place you are invited to share your story. That is what the Survivor Series is all about. Coming together as human beings to listen to the survival story of one of our peers. We all struggle with things and we all share a common bond; we are human and we need each other to live our happiest fullest lives.

Growing up in a lower socio-economic household in addition to having a strained family dynamic, my youth played a significant role in the development of mental and chemical health complications that has had a varying degree of impact on my life. Whether it is how I have been impacted by suicide, mental/chemical health struggles, or coming to terms with trauma and life events, I have found that my greatest assets have become from the most difficult times in my life – all which I hope to share with those around me as means of providing hope and encouragement for those who may be struggling.”
