We have art and nature camps for people of all ages!
Camp Structure
Each camp is 4 days long and runs Monday – Thursday. Camps are three hours in length. Morning and afternoon camps, as well as full day options are available. Each camp is limited to 12 students.
New this year…BYOG-UP (bring your own grown-up)! Yes, the main focus of our camps is children, but each child also has a special someone who shares their interests. We all have that little artist/adventurist inside of us waiting to break out! Our camps are perfect for children of ALL ages. Moms, dads, aunts, uncles, siblings, grandmas, grandpas, and family friends are invited to register and attend with their little one.

Age Requirements
Children above the listed minimum age are welcome to attend. Price per attendee is the same, regardless of age.
Camp Leaders
Angie Severson is a licensed K-12 art teacher and amateur naturalist, with childcare experience from 6 weeks – 18 years. Guest artists, teachers, community experts and volunteers will join camps throughout the summer.
Snacks
One snack per camper per camp session will be provided. It is okay for your child to bring additional snacks, but snacks CANNOT be shared amongst non family members. In addition, please indicate any food allergies or sensitivities your child has on the emergency form.
Pick-up and Drop-off
Camp check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the camp start time. All pick up and drop off takes place at Miss Angie’s Place, 208 North Main Street, Pine Island, MN.
Please be prompt during pick up and drop off. Should repeated tardiness occur, a fee will be charged.
Photo Release
The emergency form requests permission to use photographs of students for promotional purposes only. Children will not be identified by name.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel, your registration can be transferred over to another camp. If another camp is not available, Miss Angie’s Place will issue credit towards other Miss Angie’s Place activities. For example, art parties, movement classes and after school care.
Participant Behavior
It is our mission to create a safe, fun and creative learning environment for ALL of our campers. If behavior issues occur, camp leaders will redirect the camper to the best of their ability. If the behavior continues, the camper may be removed from class and parents will be called. Miss Angie, parents and camper will work together to create a behavior plan so the camper can return to planned activities. If expectations are not met, camper may be sent home for the day. If at any time the safety of our staff, instructors, campers, or property is at risk, the camper will be removed from class immediately, sent home and possibly unable to return to camp. Refunds will not be issued if your camper is sent home and/or unable to return to camp.
Camper/Leader Ratio
Our camps max out at 12 students with a 6:1 camper to leader ratio. Because of this, we are not able to provide the one-on-one support some students need. We are happy to have your child’s PCA or other adult helper join us at camp. This information must be communicated at the time of registration.
Full Day Students
For children signed up for both morning and afternoon sessions, Miss Angie’s Place will provide care over the lunch hour. Children must bring their own peanut-free lunch, and are welcome to eat and relax during this time.
